How-to

Schedule, expire and order Posts

Control when current notices appear and how priority is communicated.

Posts can represent current, scheduled or past information. Community plans also provide timed publication controls.

What to do

  1. Set Show from when a Post should appear at a future Board-local time.
  2. Set an expiry when the notice will no longer be useful.
  3. Pin truly urgent notices or highlight something that deserves attention without making everything high priority.
  4. Use the Manage ordering controls for ordinary current Posts.

Good to know

  • Expired Posts remain available in Manage but cannot be opened publicly.
  • The Board timezone controls scheduling and should be checked before publishing timed information.
