How-to

Choose a Board address

Use a PutBoard path, entitled subdomain or verified custom domain.

A Board address should be descriptive, stable and easy for the community to recognise.

What to do

  1. Every Board begins with a path address such as putboard.com/your-community.
  2. Eligible paid Boards can prepare a shorter PutBoard subdomain.
  3. Community Plus can connect a verified community-owned domain after the required DNS configuration.
  4. Share the canonical address once the change is active.

Good to know

  • Supported old PutBoard links continue to redirect after an address change.
  • Custom-domain DNS changes occur outside PutBoard and may take time to propagate.
