How-to

Use Directory actions and search keywords

Help visitors find a resource and take the next useful action.

Directory entries can combine visible contact information with carefully chosen search terms and action-oriented links.

What to do

  1. Add only the phone, email, website, map, address or opening information visitors genuinely need.
  2. Use the short label and additional actions to make the next step clear.
  3. Add search keywords for familiar alternative names or services that do not fit naturally in the visible description.
  4. Test the public Directory search and actions.

Good to know

  • Search keywords improve retrieval but are not an SEO field or a place for unrelated terms.
