Primary Ownership changes only after the proposed Owner confirms from their own verified login. The current Primary Owner remains responsible until then.
What to do
- First ensure the proposed person is an existing verified Owner of the Account.
- Start the transfer from Account access and review the consequences.
- The proposed Owner accepts or declines within seven days from their own session.
- The current Primary Owner may resend or cancel while the request remains pending.
Good to know
- Both people receive the outcome notice.
- A Primary Owner cannot simply remove themselves or be replaced through ordinary role editing.
