Supported files and content formats

Use documents, images, links, videos and locations within the core content types.

Files are formats attached to Pages, Posts and Events—not separate public product systems.

What to know

  1. Supported documents include PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX and CSV.
  2. Use image presentation for a useful visual, link presentation for an external destination, video for an approved embed and location for a map.
  3. Keep a clear title and explanatory text so visitors understand the file before opening it.

Good to know

  • Unsupported iWork files should be exported to a supported format.
  • All customer files are served through controlled Board-scoped routes.
